JASON RIEPER
From an early age (long before law school had ever crossed my mind), I knew that helping people would be a big part of my life. Back then, I wasn't sure what kind of profession I wanted to go into myself - just that I wanted a career that would allow me to help people and have time to be active in the community.
Once I entered law school I began working in my uncle's law firm and I also spent time working in the legal clinic at Drake. These experiences deepened my conviction that the right attorney can have a powerful impact on a person's life.
From Family Man to Family Lawyer
My life has always centered around my family, and today I’m very pleased to report that I have five wonderful children who mean everything to me. My oldest two children have dedicated their lives to military and civil service. Another of my children has chosen a path dedicated to improving the lives of children and families here in Iowa. That being said, I know firsthand that family matters don’t always run smoothly. Disagreements come up, and sometimes they lead you to a family law issue you never saw coming.
When I handle a legal matter involving family — whether it’s a divorce, child custody dispute, paternity issue, or another concern — I work hard to make sure my client and any children they may have get the best possible care. I do this not because it’s my job, but because that’s what I would want for my family.
I take pride in my work because I enjoy helping others through difficult situations.
An Aggressive Approach to Personal Injury & Criminal Defense
Although much of law is more about compromise than conflict, I know from years of experience that being a good lawyer means knowing when to get aggressive. This is true for almost any field of law (family law included) but is especially important when it comes to personal injury claims and criminal defense.
If you or a loved one was hurt in an accident caused by someone else, or if you’re facing criminal charges in Iowa, I invite you to start your case off on the right foot by scheduling a free consultation with me. You’ll find that not only am I happy to answer your questions, but I’m also relentless in pursuing the results you deserve.
Why Choose Rieper Law?
Choosing an attorney can be a stressful experience — especially if you’ve never had to work with one before. While I can’t tell you exactly what to expect from your case until we’ve sat down to discuss it, I can tell you what to expect when you choose to work with me:
Direct communication with your lawyer. No fighting your way through layers of call screening. No getting passed off to a legal assistant. Just direct contact with the person you came to for guidance.
Someone who actively listens to you. You’re the only one who knows the whole story. I’m here to be your sounding board, advisor, and advocate.
Genuine investment in your case. As I’ve said, this is more than just a job to me. When you entrust me with your case, I view that as an opportunity to change your life for the better. And that’s something I’m more than willing to fight for.
Whether your case involves a family-related matter, a personal injury, or a criminal accusation, I’m here to help. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call to learn more about the services I offer or what I can do for you.
